Who we are

This website is run by Augusto Ventures (“we”), based in Lisbon, Portugal. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice.

What we collect

We only collect the personal data you choose to send us, usually your name, email address and the content of your message when you write to us. This website has no contact forms, does not use cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Technical data

Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit, to keep the site secure and working. Fonts and images are served from our own website; no data is sent to Google or other third parties when the page loads.

Why we use it

We use the information you send us only to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to take steps before entering into a business relationship with you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where applicable, pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, or for as long as the law requires.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run our email and website (such as our email and hosting providers), and with authorities where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. To do so, email us at info@augustoventures.org. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
